We are now accepting applications for a Business Development Officer to join the team located at our Anthem branch in Henderson, NV. Branch is open Monday through Friday.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for sourcing and developing prospects, acquiring business, loans and/or bank services in accordance with established business development goals.
- Develops and implements marketing plans, strategies and expanding referral sources.
- Develops external leads and follows up on internal referral sources.
- Collaborates with loan officers/relationship managers as required. Determines appropriate products and services to best meet each clients needs. Makes presentations or works with relationship manager on presentations regarding bank products and services to existing and prospective clients. Sets up new accounts according to bank procedures and practices. Remains well versed in industrial, economic and financial situations relating to assigned clients.
- Responsible for gathering data to be used in selling process, participating in community organizations and activities, and assisting prospective clients in completing loan and services applications.
- May supervise or lead lower level BDO
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelors in Business, Finance or a related field and 2+ yrs experience in business development, sales, loans, banking/finance products and services or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
- Working knowledge of sales techniques, business development, banking/finance products and services.
- Must have solid customer service and negotiation skills.
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid problem resolution and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with internal staff on relationships.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and general PC's skills.

Pay range (depending on experience): $58,500 to $65,000/Annual Salary
