We are now accepting applications for an Assistant Branch Manager position. Location for this position will be within the Las Vegas / Henderson area.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

  • Primarily assistant Branch Manager to manage the branch and achieve the strategic goals of the branch in coordination with the Branch Manager.
  • Perform, or make recommendations that carry particular weight, including within the following management tasks: interviewing, selecting, hiring, advancement, and termination of employees.
  • Be responsibile for training, coaching, and mentoring employees, especially regarding the referral and sale of bank products and services.
  • Resolve client service issues and respondsto more complex client complaints and questions.
  • Schedule and set hours of work and direct the work of employees.
  • Maintain production or sales records for use in supervision or control of employees. 
  • Appraise employee productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in employee status.
  • Handle employee complaints and grievances, discipline employees, and plan the work of employees.
  • Determine the techniques to be used by employees, apportions the work, provide for the safety and security of employees and company property.
  • Monitor or implement legal compliance measures and keep branch in compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
  • Approve teller transactions as needed and prepare the branch for audits.
  • Provide sales leadership through their own production, as well as the oversight sales and services tasks; and works closely with key partners to achieve sales and service objectives and maintain operational integrity.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment regularly, including the comparison and evaluation of possible courses of conduct, and to act or make a decision after the various possibilities have been considered, free from immediate direction or supervision but ultimately responsible to the branch manager. This discretion includes the authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices; to commit the branch in matters that have significant financial impact; to waive or deviate from established policies and procedures without prior approval; to negotiate and bind the branch on significant matters; to provide consultation or expert advice to other management; to be involved in planning long- or short-term business objectives; to investigate and resolve matters of significance on behalf of management; to hire and fire the branch personnel that they manage; and to represent the branch in handling complaints, arbitrating disputes or resolving grievances.
  • Be able to process cash transactions and perform other customer service duties within the branch as needed, and has the discretion and authority to determine when to perform these additional roles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.

The Assistant Branch Manager position requires;

  • 2+ years experience in retail banking, sales, new accounts, customer service, loan processes or other directly related experience. (Combination of education and experience may meet requirements).
  • Knowledge of the banking industry, processes, procedures, regulations and products.
  • Knowledge of lending process and procedures.
  • Strong customer service, relationships building, sales and management skills.
  • Ability to handle various client concerns and problems.
  • Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of computer programs, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets etc.
  • Ability to set and maintain high quality work standards.
  • Ability to lead a group.
  • Ability to deal effectively with people in various job capacities.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
